“As someone who admires the dedication of Japanese craftsmanship, Highball embodies it well. My husband and I finally made it out this past week after having it on our must try list, and it went above and beyond our expectations. Stepping into the space felt like entering a quiet, cozy, and intimate bar in the heart of Ginza. Keeping the space limited really helps make each customer feel seen and taken care of. We both had 1 drink from each “chapter” (as guided by Justin) and every single one was not only delicious and nuanced but also really showed how much care and planning they take into creating their menu. We were lucky to be able to walk in without a wait (Please note that we did come in early on a Tuesday evening). The ambience and style of the bar is upscale without feeling stuffy. Seeing their bar staff crafting each drink with care and well-practiced efficiency, it was a bit of a shock to learn they’ve only been open for a few months. It really goes to show that their passion and knowledge in the craft of making cocktails bleeds into everything Highball aims to achieve. And I for one can’t wait to visit again.”
