“Had Valerie as our server for a birthday dinner. Not only was she rude and didn’t want to be there. Now I understand all of us have a day when we aren’t feeling the best, but she did the most bizarre things - lied to us! She said there’s no bread, while we saw it serve on other tables and there was one literally on the bar counter (see photo). When brought up to her, she said it’s “dough”!!! Since when is CPK serving dough on a plate, dough?! It’s strange to lie about something so trivial and stick without even after seeing bread in front of us! I asked about it to the manager and he confirmed that they do have bread and haven’t ran out of it. He tried to make up by giving us a discount, which I politely declined. Even after learning about it from her manager, she wasn’t apologetic and said “the manager gave discount due to the bread inconvenience”; just zero emotion. So weird. I hope this experience doesn’t reflect service at other locations.”
