“I had the most amazing dinner last night celebrating my nieces birthday. She wanted to go to Calo in south coast mall, and let me tell you they did not disappoint. We had a reservation and got sat right away. It is a busy place and their was a lot of people waiting so I suggest making reservation. Right from the start Calo is elegant and has a great ambiance you get transported to a vacation. Serve was very welcoming. Served us revers osmosis water. They have a machine in the restaurant. NO tap water like other restaurants. Our margaritas were great tasting my niece had spicy strawberry and I have a cucumber margarita delicious and refreshing. We had Guacamole as an appetizer which was good. They do give you chips/salsa and bean dip to start you with. Our meal were delicious I got quesa birria. She got a piece of steak and my sister had fish tacos. Everything was delicious. Server had perfect timing with desserts and coffee. He also cleared the whole table before bringing desser which was greatly appreciated. We even had a manager come and check in on us. JP was extremely professional, you can tell his goal is Hospitality. He made us feel welcome. Overall we had an amazing experience and we will be coming back for girls night out.
