“This is the best grocery store!! I used to go to the Irvine one (my favorite) but that sadly closed so I need to drive a little farther to their Newport store. I like it because it is not a huge chain. I think their quality is so good because their meats and vegetables don't necessarily need to be selected from the the mass produced growers. (Not sure, but that is what it seems like.) They often have produce from local growers. Their produce people know what fruits are in season and can tell you which tastes the best. (I can never find someone at other stores that can help me.) People say their prices are higher, but not always. I don't mind paying a little more for my produce if the quality is better. I've gone to other stores and end up with fruits that aren't sweet and vegetable that are tasteless. I think their soups are the best. My favorites are the turkey chili, and turkey and wild rice, but ALL are delicious! Their salad bar is fresh and clean. And lastly, they always have staff that are readily available to help you!”
