“10/7/2026 Another amazing dining experience at Sol Agave in San Juan Capistrano. Alfredo greeted us and seated us at a lovely table in the patio area. We started with frozen margaritas, chips, salsa and bean dip. Alfredo and Willey took very good care of us providing stellar customer service. The margaritas were so good and refreshing. The ambiance and vibe is so positive and uplifting and the background spanish music is delightful. Alfredo took our orders with my wife selecting the blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos entree and I had the premium steak fajitas. The food was presented in a spectacular fashion and tasted heavenly. Great food, service and ambiance. Definitely our favorite Mexican restaurant and dining experience. Highly recommended! 9/26/2026 What an amazing lunch/dinner at Sol Agave today. The lovely hostess, Monse, seated us at a cozy table in the outdoor patio area. The ambiance is refreshing and the background music was wonderful and made us just wanna dance. Alfredo was our simply amazing server. What a wonderful individual who has been with Sol Agave for 11 years. He was also assisted by the amazing team of Eliezer who brought out our main dishes, Armando Diaz who didn't leave a stone unturned with his detailed oriented approach, and even the manager staff of Benjamin and Armando who both came by independently to check quality, satisfaction and overall experience. The service and staff here are stellar and such caring individuals. We ofcourse started with some terrific margaritas. My wife had the romaine Caesar salad and I had the chicken tortilla soup. Both were amazingly good. The chips and salsa here are also fresh and the salsa and bean dip are excellent. For our entrees my wife had the Mar Y Tierra plate with prime steak enchiladas and shrimp and I had the prime steak fajitas. The food here is always consistently prepared and presented which many restaurants fail at and so scrumptious. The presensation of the dishes prepared is as close as you will get to authentic here in the states without traveling south of the boarder. The food was delicious and the service stellar! We are foodies and I can honestly state that this establishment has the best Mexican food we have had in the Orange County area. Hands down 5 stars and highly recommended! 9/13/2026 Lunch/Dinner- Linner at Sol Agave today! What an amazing Mexican restaurant. Cesar seated us at a lovely table in the patio as it was a gorgeous day. Cesar was also our amazing server. What a terrific person, caring, kind, professional, efficient and stellar in every way. We started with their amazing frozen margaritas. My wife ordered a Cesar salad for her appetizer and it was scrumptious. For our entrees my wife ordered the enchilada combo with one steak and one chicken enchilada, rice and beans. I had the Mar Y Tierra which is two filet mignon enchiladas with an amazing sauce accompanied by two large jumbo shrimps seasoned to perfection resting on their amazing Mexican rice. The food is delicious and their chefs truly know the flavors of Mexico and prepare the dishes to perfection. We took some of our food home. I also had a cup of their coffee and it was fantastic. I love a bold cup of coffee and they hit that right as well. Benjamin the GM stopped by to see how the experience was and we had a nice visit. Benjamin is another true professional and we complimented the food, staff and ambiance as we have been here three times now and consistency, cleanliness and perfection is always on target. Highly recommended”
