“I visited this salon on Saturday and asked the receptionist if anyone was good at cutting layers. She assured me that all the stylists were experienced and very skilled, so I trusted her recommendation. I was seated at the last chair on the left. I showed the stylist a reference photo and clearly asked for a layered haircut with the length below my shoulders. However, she finished cutting my hair in about seven minutes. She did not wash my hair and only asked afterward whether I wanted it blow-dried. I asked her to blow-dry it, check the shape, and trim it so it would be even. I paid $35 for what turned out to be the worst haircut I have ever had in my life. After washing my hair at home, I could clearly see how uneven and choppy it was. Some pieces were much shorter than others, the ends looked bluntly cut across, and pieces stuck out in different directions. There were no proper layers like those in the reference photo. My family also commented on how badly it was cut. The haircut looks awful, and I do not like it at all. The money is not the issue—I would not want this haircut even if it were free. Every time I look at my hair, I feel upset and frustrated. Now I have to wait for it to grow back. The salon was busy, but my haircut felt rushed and careless. Being busy does not excuse leaving a customer with such a poor result. Based on my experience, I do not believe this stylist knew how to cut the layered style I requested. I deeply regret trusting the receptionist’s recommendation. My family, my friends, and I will never come to this salon again.”
