“Refunded a drink in my DoorDash order without contacting me first for a replacement option. If it’s out of stock, at least notify me first”

“Drinks look pretty nice! I ordered the organic avocado drink while my friends ordered fruit teas, maybe that was my mistake. I got HORRIBLE diarrhea from this place after only having around 3-5 sips. My friend and her mom had a sip of mine and his mom had more of the drink than me, but I was the only one to get it. Didn’t really even taste good tbh, was expecting avocado with condensed milk and ice kind of taste, and speaking of ice, there was no ice in my drink!! The avocado was warm and tasted like old avocado, and if you know the taste between ripe and rotting avocado, it’s very different. I think this place is probably good, but I just did not have a good experience here…”

Tastea Garden Grove (Chapman) Bubble tea store
We started Tastea in 2001 as Cal State Fullerton students working out of our garage, and people have been driving across town for our boba ever since. We make milk tea, Thai tea, fruit teas, slushes, smoothies, and snacks like our Karate Chicken (popcorn chicken) and Buttload'a Fries (flavored fries) — real fruit, real milk, and cane sugar, all mixed exactly how you like it (sweetness and ice level, your call). We're Asian-American and family-run, and our shop has always been a place to hang out with friends and make a few new ones. Find us in Garden Grove, just off Brookhurst.
