“Rooster Tea is a charming little tea shop in Costa Mesa with a lot of personality packed into a small space. The first thing you’ll notice is the huge rooster mural right when you walk in. The shop isn’t very big, but it’s beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details that give it a cozy and welcoming vibe. The woman behind the counter was incredibly bubbly and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We kept it simple and ordered a Jasmine Green Tea and a Strawberry Cloud Matcha. Both drinks were refreshing, well-balanced, and made with quality ingredients. The jasmine tea had a clean, fragrant flavor, while the Strawberry Cloud Matcha was creamy, lightly sweet, and a fun twist on a classic matcha. Great drinks, beautiful decor, and genuinely warm service. This is definitely a tea shop I’d be happy to visit again whenever I’m in Costa Mesa.”

“Rooster Tea had a nice selection of teas available. Their drinks were really sweet here, especially the fruit teas. I should have gotten 50-75% sweet. The drinks were better after I diluted the milk tea with milk and the fruit teas with 3x water. * Taro Coconut Milk Tea (non caffeine) 4.5/5 - This was a very nice drink. It had a strong, smooth taro taste which I really liked. The coconut milk was pretty understated, and I didn't really taste it. * Strawberry Hisbiscus Tea 3/5 - This was a sweet drink, but the flavors didn't really come through. 100% sweet was too much for me and I had to add more water to make it drinkable.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. The boba is amazing, flavors are delicious, and the staff are so kind. I've been coming here for 2 years and nothing beats Rooster tea house. My go tos are any of the fruit green teas with boba. Lately I've been loving the Strawberry and Peach. You can adjust sweetness too. They also have little ice cream tubs which are the best flavors. LOVE the black sesame and thai tea.”
