We are the original one and only Vintage 1979 Cafe located on Westminster Avenue. Known for Vietnamese sea salt coffee, The Vintage 1979 is a retro-inspired coffee shop, tea house, and dessert cafe on Westminster Avenue in Garden Grove, serving specialty coffee, loose-leaf tea, matcha, and house-made cakes in a warm, sakura-themed space. Our signature cà phê muối pairs bold Vietnamese coffee with a salted cream cap. The wider menu spans sea salt cream lattes, ube and strawberry drinks, coffee flights, and fruit-infused sodas and lemonades, alongside cheesecakes, mousse cakes, and pastries baked in house daily. “This is one very sweet, little bakery and coffee shop and such a gem of a find - nestled inside a small plaza in Little Saigon. They also have high tea options which I will partake in at a later time. I ordered the coconut lollipop icecream which was situated on several icecream sticks and it was nice and thick icecream, so you could leisurely enjoy it without it melting fast. I also ordered some mini mousse cakes which included the following flavors: Matcha strawberry, vanilla berries, and blueberry night. A delightful, little place and I’ll be back with some girlfriends next time.😍”

“The drinks were amazing and the staff is friendly. Its a pretty cute shop too. Ill be visiting again when im in the area. Wish they would open up a shop close to my house 😭”
