The ice cream is made fresh every day right in the store and Handel’s only uses the finest and freshest ingredients. Handel’s is known for its large portion sizes as its motto is “We Never Skimp”! “Handel's is our favorite ice cream shop in Southern California. My son and I love it. It's creamy, delicious, has plenty of choices and the portions are generous. If you go for the dish with one scoop, you are likely to get 2-3 scoops! Not to mention, they have special affordable pricing every Tuesday. I happened to be served by the franchise owner yesterday at this location. John, who owns all three Handel's stores in Irvine, told me he wants to give back to the community by offering that special price because “not everyone can afford ice cream.” NOW I know why the Huntington Beach location doesn't have that offer. Thank you, John, for being thoughtful and giving back to our local community!”
