“I have been going to the Knott^s Bakery for over 28 years and yesterday I went to buy some chicken to go for dinner and as usual bought a couple of desserts as well. I was surprised to see how dry everything in the display area looked, except for one area that seemed to be sweating from the inside leading me to believe that the tempature was off somehow. Despite that I had hope that my favorite Strawberry Cake would be that delicious moist tasty treat that I have come to expect. I proceeded to order it along with a Choclate Pistachio Macaroon. The cake was dense and dry and only eatable if there was frosting on it. There were no strawberries in the filling just a faint pink color mixed into the middle, I could not even finish it, it was such a disappointment. The Chocolate Macaroon was lacking the pistachios and for some reason it tasted sweet and salty, YUK! To say the least. I am so disappointed in the quality of the Knott's Bakery. I hope that the bakery team turns things around so that I can continue to enjoys good tasting appealing dessert”
