What people say

3 out of 5 stars

“I love FroYo, but the toppings were sparse. The cookie dough was super flowery brownie was potentially a little light. Also, the M&Ms were large size not mini which personally I cannot get behind. Great experience. Staff is good Butterfingers instead of Heath bar??? Never in my Yogurtland days have I seen something like this seems to be a special occasion, but I still enjoyed my experience. Curbs are crazy in the parking lot. Beware.I will be back to eat more yogurt! Also, the Oreos were not crushed up. That was weird. I have to say. I wanted to say that 3/5 is a good review for me. Review inflation is a real thing. Pay yogurtland a visit”

“Well, I see from previous poor reviews that I wasn't the only customer who had issues with this particular store. Regardless of whether or not there were signs posted on the machines saying to "return the lever to the upward position when finished," the fact remains that prior to this I have never had a situation where I attempted to serve myself a small sample cup of frozen yogurt at Yogurtland or any other frozen yogurt stores only to have the yogurt continue to exit the machine after I let go of the lever, which appeared to be happening because the internal spring mechanism that was supposed to automatically return the lever to the upward position had failed. Whether this was because of the internal spring itself being broken or missing, or the yogurt somehow hardened within the pipe/tubing or froze the lever in the down position and overpowered the spring mechanism, what then happened was that I couldn't consume the sample I had tried to dispense from the machine. This was because I picked up one of the yogurt cups from the stack and used it to catch the yogurt that was all over my hands (because the lever wouldn't return to the upward position on its own, which is what it's supposed to do since it's spring-loaded) so it wouldn't fall on the floor. When I did this, an employee then took the entire fro-yo cup and dumped it in the trash. She allowed me to rinse my hands afterwards to get the yogurt off, but the subsequent attempt to dismiss my complaint about the failing spring mechanism may not have been such a great idea considering the fact that it is standard industry practice across multiple frozen yogurt vendors to use machines equipped with working spring-loaded levers so the customers don't have to be bothered with pushing them back up. Whoever is running this store must really be having a bad time coping with operating costs (including Tustin-specific taxes and other expenses) considering they can't seem to be bothered with fixing an issue like this. Better luck next time and start watching out for machines that have mechanical issues like this, I guess. Additional information: Guess what, I went to Tustin's other Yogurtland on Edinger Avenue/Tustin Ranch Rd last night, got a sample of the French Vanilla and bought a few ounces of multiple frozen yogurt flavors and all the handles I had to use returned to the upward position on their own, so I didn't have to deal with anything like what happened at the Newport Avenue Yogurtland. The French Vanilla was the one that gave me the issue with the machine at the Newport Avenue location and is the flavor that creates most of the issues in my experiences at YL, as it seems to be one of the more viscous flavors that is often slow to exit the dispenser”
