“Tried their cake for first time. They are way better than any American bakery cake. Light airy soft, not too sweet. Unlike cake from other bakeries is too sweet to eat. My only suggestion to the owner would be to make simple layered vanilla and chocolate cake. Instead of overdoing it with coconut and durian. Not everyone like coconut or durian. Just plain simple vanilla and chocolate cake would be amazing. You can make ur special cake but keep slices of jyst chocolate and vanilla cake slices. Without rum or any other filling. Also if possible you can make mango and jackfruit cake. Or banana cake. But no coconut or other filling inside. With your style of cake it will taste amazing.”

“Van’s Bakery on Bolsa Avenue in Westminster is one of those special places that always brings a little extra joy to the day. Every time I stop by, I find myself excited to see the beautiful selection of desserts, cakes, mooncakes, and refreshing drinks. It feels like a wonderful combination of French-inspired baking and beloved Asian flavors, all brought together in one welcoming bakery. I absolutely love their French-style cakes. They are not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious, delicate, creamy, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Each cake feels thoughtfully made, and they are wonderful for a special celebration or simply for treating yourself after a long day. There is something very satisfying about sharing a beautiful cake with family and friends. Their mooncakes are another favorite of mine. They have that traditional, comforting flavor that brings back wonderful memories, especially during the Mid-Autumn Festival season. I also appreciate the variety because there is always something tempting to discover. And of course, I cannot forget the boba and juicy, refreshing drinks! They are the perfect match with a sweet pastry or cake. Sitting down with a delicious dessert and a cold, flavorful drink makes for such a pleasant little break in the day. What I appreciate most about Van’s Bakery is the overall experience. The beautiful desserts, wonderful flavors, variety, and welcoming atmosphere make every visit enjoyable. I often leave with more than I originally planned to buy because everything looks so tempting! Van’s Bakery has become one of my favorite places on Bolsa Avenue when I am craving something special. Whether you are looking for a beautiful French cake, traditional mooncakes, pastries, or a refreshing boba drink, I highly recommend stopping by. It is truly a delightful bakery that deserves five stars!”
