“I am very disappointed and heartbroken by this experience. I went in simply for a haircut, planning to donate 8 inches of hair and made it very clear to my stylist that I did not want to cut off any more. She reassured me multiple times that my hair would stay as long as possible and would definitely not end up above my shoulders. Unfortunately, my hair ended up well above my shoulders, and when I measured the ponytails when I got home, they were 13 inches long. My hair is very thick and puffy, making it extremely difficult to style at this length. I feel so insecure and sad about the result. I trusted my stylist to respect the limits I clearly communicated, and I left feeling devastated. Hair is personal, and I wish my request had been respected.”
